tribeca world premiers

one of my favorite people, g, is the director of programming @ the tribeca film festival (no big deal). 

she's so major. 

every year, i've missed all the fun because i was in a show. 

i couldn't have been happier to be unemployed so i didn't miss the festivities. 

g picked 3 films for me and i LOVED every one. 

we wen't to all their premiers which was cool on every level. they always have a talk-back right after the film with the director, writers, actors... it's all so accessible and interesting. 

i felt so glam.

 we saw emily blunt in my sister's sister.

 i brought nan and we worked the red carpet...

then i saw elizabeth mcgovern (downton abbey) in cheerful weather for the wedding.

 darling director, eliz (who was a bit frosty...) and their writer.

 then i got my dance party on at 2 different parties...
who can resist a saturday night fever floor?!

 subsy and i saw lola versus which we LOVED. it's about a girl whose life falls apart at 29...
i wouldn't know anything about that .....

then we hit the meatball shop for a little post-game treat.

it was such an incredible experience. i couldn't be more grateful to G or my very fun tribeca dates.
