back to the mat

when my life is this uncertain and all over the place,
i really love barre class... i can dig in and not think about anything but the intense burning in my thighs....

so i knew that the best thing i could do for myself, would be to do more yoga.
i mean, teach it..... i should be able to practice once in a while.
but.....
right now, i hate being still.
reflective.

it just makes me anxious and sad.

so i did what i didn't want to do.

i bought an unlimited month ($30!! thanks daily candy!) to my favorite studio
and i'm forcing myself to shut up and breathe.

breathe out the sad, breathe in the glad.

so that's my may.

what do you force yourself to do, knowing it'll be good for you?

It feels good to push yourself, right? Your post reminded me of one of my favorite quotes lately (here's the pinterest link http://pinterest.com/pin/192177109068721626/)
"Breathe it all in, Love it all out"
I find myself repeating that in my head/heart all the time.

I force myself to get up EARLY and walk at least 2 miles every day--when I hate it the most is when I need it the most.

Thank you so much for your insight! My life is so uncertain and all over the place right now; it feels awful. I just want to die!! LOL no but really sometimes this life is too hard to take. I guess we just have to force ourselves because trial and tribulation is only temporary.

Does this mean you're teaching again now?

Long time reader, Natalie. I always appreciate when you share how you work through challenges and stay healthy. Quick question: a little while ago I sent an email to your sponsorship email (only one I could see on the blog) about a possible personal makeup consultation. Is there a better email to send it to? Thanks!! :-)

Run. I started running out of heartache, when my step mother (also a runner) suggested that instead of not feeling, running would let me feel everything and make it ok. She told me tragic stories of how in her dark times she would run for miles bawling her eyes out until she was exhausted, but it made the rest of the day so much more bearable.

So I run. Makes me feel stronger inside and out.

Eat healthy. Sweat. I feel so much better when I do. This is a huge lifestyle shift for me and I can see the physical changes, but most importantly I feel happier, more grounded, and less anxious. I'm rooting for you! Keep breathing!

I force myself to settle into scripture study. I love it once I get into the habit again but when I've been lazy it's hard to stay focused. I know it will ease my mind and make me happier when I'm done though!

So, on your previous post you are wearing a beautiful lipstick. What brand and color is it Natalie? I just don't know if an older woman can pull that color off when especially, she doesn't have very beautiful lips like you.
