welcome new sponsor!
since i'm not in baby-land (yet..) i hear you need insurance....
so. basically if a baby is in your future (in the next 2 years), then you should buy a supplemental insurance policy (like AFLAC). you pay a small premium every month ($100) and then deliver your baby x amount of months later and get paid $3,100-$4,300.
the only catch is you HAVE to buy it before you get prego.
people have till feb 15 until Aflac says goodbye to utah for good.
if it sounds to good to be true, it obviously is...they're saying goodbye to you baby-machines cause you're draining their cash flow!
so buy your insurance from MyMaternityPlans.com
sounds like a good idea, no?

I'd recommend that anyone who is thinking about having a baby to make sure that they have a good short term disability policy. That will pay a percentage of your salary after having a baby (I have mine through work and I'd get 60% of my salary for 6 wks after a normal delivery; 8 for a Cesarean). It's a lot cheaper than $100/mo, and you'll need that coverage if you have children but not much of an emergency fund.
this is a great idea but if i could add one thing, that would be a will. anyone who is pregnant should be thinking about who would take responsibility if anything were to happen. it's just the smart thing to do.
i am secretly or not so secretly excited for your post on the next bachelor episode. you can spot crazy a mile away.
I've done these plans and had friends do them and we've all made a lot of money. Pretty sure there aren't any disability plans in Utah that cover maternity(for individuals).
