ahoy mateys!

it comes to my attention that pirate island pizza is opening in orem, utah today!
to celebrate, they're doing radio giveaways for hannah montana tickets, photo ops with jack sparrow, free appetizers, and more fun than you can shake your wooden leg at!
(yes, i just ended that sentence with a preposition.... sorry, melody bestor.... sorry, mom....)

if you know me at all, you'll know that the second i'm back in orem, i'm heading on a festive theme date @ pirate island pizza.

learn more from the { pirate island blog }

argg!!!

It's funny that you put this on your blog! We are actually taking my son (who is excited to go with his friends and some family) for his 16th birthday next week.

I HOPE they celebrate national talk like a pirate day.

Ah no! I'm so peeved they tore down the dollar theatre that was there. But I must admit that pirate pizza sounds mildly appealing...ok a lot.

Just opened my October issue of Glamour (what they are sending me instead of Domino now). Assuming that your chums with Elna Baker- "a Mormon comedian-and yup, a virgin" living in NY City. Starting on pg. 203 she's got a 3 page article "Yes- I'm a 27- year old virgin". At first glance I didn't catch the mormon part and thought "wow- that IS strange" haha

Is this near the University Mall? Well it's been years since I lived there, but the flower boxes and front look the same. And I think I remember that was a theatre.

I just thought you'd like to know, in case you don't, that September 19th is national "Talk Like a Pirate" day. Something to think about.
