more bbb FAQ

  • do you get paid more when you play "rosie"? yes. i'm paid an additional 1/8th of my salary + $50. i'm also paid a little more each week to learn/rehearse the role. consequently, i'm docked 1/8th of my salary if i miss a show (unless i use my 1 sick day/month)
  • will you introduce me to john stamos or gina gershon? um... prolly not. if i offer, great. if i personally know you, we'll talk about it. if you come to the stage door, i'm sure you can meet them there.
  • can you get a ticket for me to opening night and the party? NO! (i'm shouting now)
  • is there a way i could meet you if i come to see bbb? yes, please! come to the stage door after the show and say hi! and tweet me to tell me you're there!
  • do you have an understudy? yes. the beautiful nina hennessy (who has like 7 bway shows to her credit) is the adult female swing... she hangs backstage and goes on for any of the adult female ensemble when we're either sick or on for other roles.
  • is there another "rosie" understudy? nope. i'm it. if you don't see gina, you'll see me.
  • do you like your cast? yes. the teens are amazingly talented and sweet and the adults are just so cool..... i think it'll be a REAL good show, y'all!
  • what should i see? where should i stay? what should i eat when i come to nyc??? lovies, as much as i'd LOVE to custom design an itinerary for all of you, i simply don't know you well enough nor have that kind of time. my suggestion is to look thru my blog archives for adventures that suit your fancy.try to keep your lodgings in the central part of the island (that'll make your trip easier to maneuver) and see bye bye birdie, fools. in addition, i love billy elliot, in the heights, jersey boys, south pacific and all things disney for the kids.

Nat, you know, if the Broadway gig ever fails to pan out, you could just become a personal tour guide to lots of different people. Just tell them to shut their mouths, follow you, and enjoy! ;)

Hope you have a great day! I wish I could come out for the opening.....

Hi natalie! My name is Karissa (Flanagan) Smallwood. I went to high school with Nicole and Nina. Anyway, I found your blog through Nicoles (it's hilarious, by the way) and got so excited when I saw that you're in BBB. My husband and I have tickets to see it on Oct. 22nd. Good luck and we're really excited to see the show!

Ok, first of all, I know you don't know me from Adam (or Eve, for that matter), but I think you should know I totally stalk your blog. It makes me lol. Seriously, LAUGH OUT LOUD! We should be besties, cause let's face it, I might just already be telling people here in AZ we are. So let me introduce myself: my name is Sabrea Swann, my friends call me Sabe or SAbz. This isn't my blog, so that's all for now.

Btw, I'm kidding about the telling people we're besties. I do, however, suggest to everyone that I think we could be bff's if we ever met.
