my baby don't tolerate

oh, lyle lovett.
i love you.
when i saw you and your very large (and mostly gorgeous) band in your sleek suits, i pretended i wasn't in a kitchy concert hall in wendover.
no. that wasn't the right place for your respect for the music and your nod to a different era.
last night you took me to a humid west texas bar in the 1950's.
i was dewy and wearing a tissue-thin cotton dress and you got me dancing till my feet hurt.

hmmmm.. .much better than wendover.
jules was a fool for leaving you .

love, mim*

-miss kt, he did play the pantries song and shazam failed me big time.
i'm now in hot pursuit. man, 4 boys playing strings and singing about sexual innuendo....
good time to me. do let me know if you find it first...

I love how you wrote this entry so discript....I felt like was in the 1950's in the bar wearing the thin cotton dress...
YUM!

Damn you Shazam!

It makes it a little bit better that this mysterious song lingers only in memory and I secretly don't want to find it...
