life is tasty

at banff,
we loved a film about abstract expressionist, gino hollander,
who was a wwII ski trooper turned artist in his later years.

he's this quirky, 80+ yr old, oxygen-tank-toting, artist who paints with crusty brushes...
not knowing where the painting is going. never directing it....

he says, "life is tasty"

and he mostly paints women because we're most alive and active.

i love that.

someday, i will own an original gino hollander.
anyone know if there are prints available?

my favorites....

doesn't she look like a fiery gypsy?
i want to be her.

multi- tasking mother

so much sorrow.

this looks like my sisters...

How touching the last photo...I hope if you can ever get your hands on a print that is the one you get! I love art...I am a Norman Rockwell fan! however I don't have even a print. guess I should get one!
