sad to miss stadium on fire..... no, not really that sad. i always get firework ash in my hair. boo.

hearing jt's voice immediately takes me to lake powell.
it's the 6 am ski trip (that usually ends up being round 8:30),
dad's driving the boat and singing "oh mexico, i've never really been but i'd sure like to gooooo" and pumping the weak stereo system.
i'm happy and windburned and sun kissed and eating mom's fresh-from-the-oven bran muffins and hoping amanda lets go (30 min is too long for one ski run) so i can have a turn.

jt makes me so happy.

i'm a rare breed of girl who doesn't like to take baths. but, since my muscles are crying, i've been soaking. 

to feel luxurious (and to make the time pass), i'm re-reading my friend, nilo's genius plays.

i do pilates 2-3x/wk

i walk MILES everyday

i dance the hand jive 8x's/wk

i teach and demonstrate yoga 4x/wk...

and THIS killed me.

the very worst part of breaking up is losing your partner in crime....

well... the mantle of partner-in-crimeness naturally falls on your girlfriends. 

what happens when you're on a dating hiatus and your girls are in japan/hawaii, tallahassee, vegas, and saratoga springs?

i like to ride my bicycle

so how long does it take to get a FB, NP, friendBOY or ANYBODY WITH TOOLS to put together a quasi-assembled bicycle?

 (seriously, how many stagehands, adventure planners, handy-man's club of america card holders, cyclists, and all around tough guys to i have to date?!?!)

um....a month and a half.

finally, i borrowed tools (TRIED to do it myself, but no dice) and asked the most important man in my life to come to my aid........

my DOORman. 

that's why i pay the big rent bucks.

so i rode my bicycle (like a geek with a helmet) all over my city (SCARY!!!) 

and now my girl parts hurt......... hope that goes away...

for me, the best part of the tony's was the rehearsal.

at a cool 10:00 am, we students at rydell high met sailors, dames, frankenstein, a soon to be stripper, her overbearing mother and 4'11" kristen chenoweth at radio city to rehearse for the broadcast. 

soo cool to mingle in costume.

this week, i promise to:

1. deep clean my apt (including getting rid of my piles)

2. sleep 8 hrs+

3. read scriptures daily

4. pray morning, night, in between and at meals (if even silently)

5. be quiet

6. be still

7. take a hiatus from dating (my heart is too hurt,dating has caused my schedule to be too erratic and my boundaries are too challenged.. but not to fear, i still have more stories up my sleeve- i have to wait at least 6 months to give you the latest anyway.. blog courtesy rule)

8. stay off sugar

9. drink more greens

i hope to be more recharged.

the second part of birthday-palooza included an intimate dinner with my favorite women of substance in nyc. 

bff worthie hosted a fiesta @ diablo royale.

i sort of look like a vampire in this one...which makes me v. v. happy.

to honor my syd, i saw delicious theatre.

perfectly acted, brilliantly directed and utterly disturbing. 

she would have loved it. 

my favorite moment was in the bathroom during one of the 2 intermissions (because it's almost 4 hrs long but FLIES by!):

a group of sisters + a mother: "we're OK!!! our family's OK!!!"

 (in reaction to the dysfunction we witnessed.)
